Houmuwu Quadripod is a representative bronze ware in the period of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties in China and is listed as a national grade-one cultural relic. The quadripod was unearthed in Wuguan Village, Anyang City, Henan Province in 1 939. The quadripod, 832.84 kg in weight, 1 33 cm in height with an opening as long as 1 1 2 cm and as wide as 79.2 cm, is the heaviest bronze ware unearthed in the world by now, as well as the most important bronze ware in the pre-Qin period in China known now. It is reputed as the "National Treasure of China". Houmuwu Quadripod is now kept in the National Museum of China.
