On November 24, 1 974, Donald Johnson, an American paleoanthropologist, discovered a hominine fossil with 40% of the body preserved. To celebrate this great discovery, he played The Beetles' song Lucy in theSky withDiamonds, and later the hominine fossil of 3.2 million years old was named after Lucy. "Lucy" confirms the inference of anthropological archaeology in the 20th century – "the human beings originate from Africa". On May 13, 2010, a replica of "Lucy" as the national treasure of Ethiopia was displayed at Ethiopia Pavilion of African Joint Pavilion of Expo 2010 Shanghai China. Before the debut, she was treasured up in the National Museum of Ethiopia all the time.
