From August 23rd to November 13th, 2022,"Meow's Wonderland-- An Exhibition of Naive Arts from Belarus" will be held in Temporary Exhibition Hall 1 of the World Expo Museum, focusing on 50 original paintings mainly by Rimashevsky Igor Vileorovich, a representative artist of the Belarusian Naive Art. Taking the beautiful city life as the entry point, the exhibition selects works that reflect urban culture, natural scenery and people's lives, and uses cats that fit the needs and preferences of the "it era" young group as clues. The exhibition is divided into four sections:"District: Second Hometown","Friends of Honor","Peace & Love life after life", and "Meow’ Bonding 'Hello Shanghai'", showing that as a community of life on earth, people live in harmony with animals and nature, thus provoking the viewer to think about the nature of life. At the same time, the exhibition provides a wonderful journey of decompression and healing for the audience in the post-epidemic era.
In addition to the artist's original works, the exhibition is carefully designed with many immersive scenes and interactive experiences; besides, inspired by the story characters in the exhibition, the organizer independently designed and developed a number of cat-themed IP derivatives that will be released during the exhibition.
This exhibition is sponsored by the World Expo Museum, supported by the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center, and co-organized by Beijing Wenze Times Culture and Art Company.
