Today our journey of theOngoingHistory:‎fromShanghaiToMilano is with Pavilion Turkmenistan! ??It was the first time Turkmenistan has participated in a global exposition at Expo2010. The design of Turkmenistan pavilion harmoniously combined national decor elements and advanced technologies. Its rectangular tracery facade was ornamented with octagonal stars and Turkmen carpet patterns and decorated with the national emblem of the country. ??????????

At expo2015, the Turkmenistan Pavilion displays traditional as well as modern symbols of its country. At the entrance of the white pavilion, there is a water fountain with a horse’s head of the oldest known horse breed in the world, the “Ahal-Tekke horse”. Inside the solid construction, visitors will find the theme of quality food production, biodiversity and health, even huge hand made carpets, a water feature with projection, a 5D cinema and a genuine traditional yurt on the rooftop.
