Today our journey of theOngoingHistory :fromShanghaiToMilano is with Pavilion Vietnam! The Vietnam Pavilion at Expo2010 was made of 80, 000 bamboos with a majority of this resource coming from china. Through its exhibition, the Vietnamese culture was highlighted as visitors learned about the country’s history and culture as well as its progress in eco-protection and urban development. After the Expo2010, the bamboos were recycled and reused for social welfare facilities and rebuilding schools.??????
At Expo2015, Vietnam reveals itself under the theme “Water and Lotus”. Video, graphics, catalogs, leaflets, but also art objects, ceramics and three shows a day are the means by which the Vietnam Pavilion shares with all participating countries and visitors the wealth of its culture and food, conveying particular consideration for Italy with whom it enjoys a close diplomatic friendship.
