Today our journey of ‎theOngoingHistory :‎fromShanghaiToMilano is with Pavilion Thailand! At Expo2010, Thailand revealed itself under the theme “Thainess: A Sustainable Way of Life”. The pavilion featured elegant design motifs that are distinctively Thai, thereby emphasizing Thailand’s unique culture and artistry and a preliminary understanding of the Thai environment and way of life.??????????????

Due to the looming world food shortage, this time at Expo2015 Thailand proposes the concept of “Nourishing and Delighting the World” to unveil its agricultural abundance, production of high-quality and delicious food that confirms the readiness to become the kitchen of the world. The architectural design of the pavilion is inspired by three main components: ngob, Thai farmer hat; King of Nagas, serpent; and pagoda bases, which uniquely characterizes Thailand.
