Stefano Beltrame, Consul-General of Italy in Shanghai, introduced the preparation and progress of Expo Milano 2015 and the promotional activities of road shows in Shanghai.     
 
Masnou, Curator of Sino-Italian City Pavilion in Expo Milano, introduced the Sino-Italian City Pavilion and the cooperation project between Milano and Shanghai.

On the afternoon of Mar.24, Consulate-General of Italy in Shanghai held the press conference of Expo Milano in Shanghai World Expo Museum. In the conference, Stefano Beltrame, Consul-General of Italy in Shanghai, announced, China was the country with most pavilions in Expo Milano, including not only the China Pavilion, Vanke Pavilion, China Corporate Joint Pavilion, but also the World Expo Museum in Shanghai which would participate in Expo Milano as a stand-alone pavilion for the first time. "Sino-Italian City Pavilion" jointly built by Italy and China, as the only pavilion outside the Expo site in Expo Milano, would be opened to the visitors from across the world at the Central Railway Station Square located at the center of Milano city, aiming to show the brands, creativities and industries of relevant cities in China and Italy, expand the new cooperation space between cities and become the witness and continuation of the "Expo Friendship" between Shanghai and Milano.         

This year is the 45 anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Italian diplomatic relations and also the 36 anniversary of the establishment of Shanghai-Milano sister-city relations. Moreover, Shanghai and Milano are the two host cities of the two consecutive world Expos. In this Expo Milano, a series of wonderful activities would greatly enhance the friendship between the two sister cities. Expo Milano 2015 Road Show in Shanghai, Milano "Expo in City" Shanghai Week and Via Montenapoleone Ultimate Shopping Experience would be launched in succession.       
 
In order to attract more Chinese tourists to head for the Expo Milano, according to Stefano Beltrame, Alitalia would soon open the non-stop flight from Shanghai to Milano; and cities such as Guangzhou, Chongqing, etc. would also open the non-stop flights to the Italian cities. The number of flights between the two countries in each week would be increased to 48.       
 
In the conference, Liu Xiuhua, Curator of Shanghai World Expo Museum, introduced that the World Expo Museum, as the joint construction project of BIE and Shanghai Municipal Government, would center on the theme of "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life" of Expo Milano to specially display a series of classical wine and food born in the one hundred years of history of the World Expo.
