Since the New Year of 2018 is coming soon, the World Expo Museum (WEM) has already prepared New Year’s benefits to us all, and is waiting for everyone to present.

During the New Year's Holiday (December 30, 2017 to January 1, 2018), the WEM will have a promotion for a preferential movie tickets, RMB 80 for the two-person ticket and RMB 100 (original price is RMB 150) for the three-person ticket.

Amazing Adventure at EXPO showed at the WEM at August 18 this year is the first customized special-effect movie themed at the World Expo in the world, lasting for 28 minutes. Through watching this movie, the visitors can not only relive the spectacular event of Expo 2010 Shanghai and look into the vibrant future of the World Expo, but also have an immersive and dynamic experience in watching a movie in the special-effect cinema

The “Ablaze at the Expo” Special-Effect Cinema, as a highlight of the WEM, features in the first super large multi-screen joint mapping system in China, the world’s most advanced 4K 3D laser projector, the only multidimensional panoramic surround sound field in China, the independently designed immersive light-sensitive special-effect seats, and the fully immersive stage art light linkage effect.

The WEM promotes a big preference this time. A discount of 20% is for two-person tickets and a discount of more than 30% for three-person tickets. The promotion is limited for three days only. People who are usually busy with working or learning may take this opportunity to enjoy the splendid culture of the World Expo with this preference.

The Special-Effect Cinema at the WEM will play eight rounds a day. The ticket office is at the No. 2 Window on the ground floor of Tourist Service Center. In addition, the WEM will offer two rounds of free guide services each day (10:00 and 14:00).

The New Year’s Day of 2018 is Monday, and the WEM will open to the public as normal.
