World Expo Museum is a modern and gorgeous building located upon the Huangpu River and within the Expo 2010 site in Puxi.It keeps 20,000 precious legacies of World Expos for over 160s years, giving a complete account the history of World Expos, including the splendor of Expo 2010 in Shanghai, as well as a glimpse into the future of World Expos.On May 1 last year, World Expo Museum was officially open.

　　World Expo Museum is the only official museum and documentation center of the BIE. So far, it has received 500,000 visitors for free and has enjoyed wide acclaim.

　　Exhibition is the basic way and means for World Expo Museum to offer public education. The Museum has eight permanent exhibitions that use text and graphics, real objects, models and multimedia interactive tools to illustrate the development and the role of World Expos in terms of social and urban development, evolution of national identity and industry & technology development, showcasing its far-reaching influence and legacies for human kind.It is a great means of education through entertainment, and it has the magic to draw the public close to World Expos and understand them. 　　So far, World Expo Museum has housed a series of international events, serving as a platform for both public cultural activities and international exchanges.

　　On May 25, 2017, more than 70 representatives of foreign Consulate-Generals in Shanghai, offices of friendship cities in Shanghai, foreign chambers of commerce and multinational corporations visited World Expo Museum; from June 6 - 9, 2017, Worldskills International President Simon Bartley and Vice President Stefan Praschl, as well as about 600 experts and contestants visited World Expo MuseumOn July 5, the 206th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces Day were celebrated at World Expo Museum.
