An Osaka delegation led by Prefecture Council Speaker visited World Expo Museum.
On August 30 in the morning, a delegation of 14 members of the Osaka Prefecture Council came to World Expo Museum following the Council Speaker. The delegation consisted of, in addition to the Speaker, members of the Council, deputy director of Osaka Prefecture Council Affairs Office, and the Chief Representative of the Osaka Office in Shanghai. The delegation viewed the basic exhibitions of World Expo Museum and gained a further understanding of the history and development of World Expos. Osaka is bidding to host Expo 2025 now. In the discussion, Speaker Iwaki emphasized the support of the Japanese government and local governments for Osaka's bid to host the World Expo, and the city is organizing a campaign for Osaka citizens to sign up to support the city's bidding efforts.
Chairman Hong said that World Expo Museum would become one of the important platforms for promoting future World Expos in China.
