In May, WEM and 29 museums and other institutions in the Yangtze River Delta established the “Yangtze River Delta Museum Education Alliance”. The Alliance has agreed on future partnerships between museums and schools in this region to pool together the strengths of more museums. The Alliance will create a cultural brand through more professional and efficient communication and partership as well as resource sharing in the Yangtze River Delta.
To promote the World Expo culture, give full play to the education function of museums and therefore offer more learning opportunities to kids through creating synergy between museum education and school education, WEM sent a group of 9 lecturers on September 17 to bring the WEM Lecture Hall to Anhui for the first time. During 5 days, they travelled to Huangshan City School of Tourism Management, Huangshan Xinhua Central School, Huangshan Gengcheng Central School and Tunxi Experimental Primary School in Anhui Province.
The lecturer group first came to the Huangshan City School of Tourism Management in Anhui Province. At 2:30 pm on September 18, the WEM lecture rs gave their first lesson to more than 300 students in the school. The students were amazed by the attractive World Expo foods, interesting stories about automobiles, a short play that spurred laughter, as well as an interactive session.
After class, some students were still enchanted. Most of them had heard about the World Expo from the newspapers or their teachers but did not know that World Expos could be so interesting. Some students said that this "lecture" is very different from other lectures they had attended in the same lecture hall. They realized that learning could be full of fun.
Huangshan City School of Tourism Management is a national key secondary vocational school. All the students attending the class came from the first grade, majoring in preschool education, hotel management and tourism. Considering the students' majors, the lecturers adapted their content and picked two subjects "Gourmet Experience" and "Dream of Mobility".

On September 19, the lecturers came to the Huangshan Xinhua Central School. Huangshan Xinhua Central School is about one hour's walk from Huangshan District, Huangshan City. It is located in the mountains. It has a kindergarten, a primary school and a junior high school with over 300 kids. They are all local children.
At one o'clock in the afternoon, the kids gathered in the lecture hall after a nap. Although the lecture hall was poorly equipped and the weather was hot, the lecturers and students explored the beautiful bigger world outside the beautiful mountains with great enthusiasm.

After finishing the class in Xinhua Central School, the WEM Lecture Hall lecturers drove to Huangshan Gengcheng Central School, getting ready for two classes to start at 3 o'clock.
The kids there were active and eager to learn. Many students jumped at every question the lecturers asked. That was a happy afternoon in a small lecture hall where the kids learned knowledge and received gifts. The class was as pleasant as the weather outside.
When the lecturers talked about the gourmet experience at World Expos, the history of automobiles and story of the great people, the students gradually understood the World Expo and the history of human development reflected in World Expos. Many students said that they wanted to see a World Expo with they own eyes in the future.
