Family Art Camp | Live Musical Play "Little Musician" To Meet the Audience at the WE Theater

  An important event of the 2018 Shanghai International Arts Festival, the Family Art Camp will take place at WEM. On four weekends from October 20 to November 11, parents can take their kids to WEM to enjoy a series of performances brought by top groups from home and abroad. They can appreciate art performances in various forms and even participate in live shows and witness the work behind the scene, which will put their kids on the road of art and creativity.

  The live musical play "Little Musician" from Asian Culture Center will be staged at WEM's WE Theater on November 10. Winner of the first "Asian Arts Award" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018, this play is co-produced by Asian Culture Center and Brush Theatre of South Korea. It is a "4D space art drama" that highlights humanity, creativity and imagination. It has universal meaning transcending family relationship. Presenting high-level performance before the little audience will help infiltrate culture and art into their daily life.

  Synopsis

  One winter day, a wandering orphan, the little musician Movic, is about to sleep on the ground in the alley. At this moment, a ray of sunshine shot into the alley.

  Movic felt warm, so he went to the crowded street and played the flute. However, the street was indifferent to Movic. On the cold street, the sun warms up Movic like his mother. But the warmth did not last long, as the sun set soon. Movic wanted the sun! So, he began to look for the lost sun.
