Speech of Head of International Cooperation Department

　　Astana EXPO 2017

　　Ladies and Gentlemen,

　　Your Excellency Mr. Loscertales,

　　Your Excellency Mr. Hong Hao

　　I am very honored to represent JSC NC Astana EXPO-2017 and welcome all of you to this special event -“Energizing The Future Expo -2017 Astana Exhibition”.

　　First of all, I would like to thank BIE and World EXPO Museum team for a warm invitation to be a part of World EXPO Museum, which is a great honor for us. For our organization, it is the opportunity to recall the EXPO 2017 Astana that united the world on its side from the 10th of June to the 10th of August 2017 inspiring the international community to renew their commitment to a sustainable future under the theme:“Future Energy”.

　　Let me use this opportunity to highlight that EXPO 2017 Astana was a great example of the truly united country, where all the energies, authorities and forces of the country were mobilized: from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the local authorities, organizers, participants and citizens who have made this event possible, to the visitors who have shown enthusiasm and thirst for learning.

　　Kazakhstan has attributed a high strategic value to EXPO 2017 since the beginning working hard on international participants, commercial partner’s attraction. Holding of EXPO 2017 in Astana resulted in our main expectation, where Astana has become more recognizable, better known and attractive for international tourists after the EXPO.

　　Here in the World EXPO Museum we tried to bring a piece of Astana EXPO-2017, the mock-up model of which demonstrates successful infrastructure of the site and the functionality with its circular site plan, where all the pavilions were at equidistance from the Kazakhstan national pavilion (sphere NUR-Alem). Today, EXPO site is the most dynamic and active part of Astana.

　　For the whole 93 days of EXPO 2017 we have worked hand in hand with BIE that has united us around a major goal: to create a qualitative Exhibition and a grand international gathering for nations and cultures. And now that we have reached this goal – I would like to wholeheartedly thank Mr. Loscertales and the whole BIE team for their hard work and valuable help in every single question our organization had.

　　With a great pleasure, I would like to thank EXPO Museum director Mrs. Lorelei Lui W for such a warm invitation, and to show my full appreciation to the whole team of World EXPO Museum who have so much contributed to making this Exhibition “Energizing The Future Expo -2017 Astana Exhibition”.
