Dana Al Ali, who is a WEM intern , prepared all the information, and after her presentation, the kid guide will deliver the same information in Chinese to visitors.

Dana Al Ali is a student majoring in law and political science in Sorbonne University as well as a UAE Youth Programme participant. Currently, she has been an intern at the WEM for one and a half months and has made many attempts.

Taking advantages of her native language and fluent English, Dana Al Ali collects information about Dubai and makes recommendations for the WEM's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai. At the same time, she also learns the Expo history and reads related materials.

We will also see Expo Dubai’s information sorted by Dana Al Ali be published on the WEM’s official website and its WeChat public platform soon.

In addition to making brief introduction to Expo Dubai at the exhibition hall with the kid guide, Dana Al Ali also volunteers for the WE KIDS lectures.

Dana Al Ali said that being an intern at the World Expo Museum was very challenging but wonderful. Within only one and a half months, she learned a lot of professional knowledge and personal skills, including a new way of writing. She was grateful for her internship at the WEM International Communication Center where the environment was vibrant and positive, and everyone was very friendly, making her feel at ease. The teacher, Andrea, was the person who knows her best and gave her good advice and work arrangements.

In this summer, besides Dana Al Ali, there are two other interns, Zhou Jiaxian from Hong Kong and Tang Jieshi from Macau. They participate in the information promotion work. The collision of wisdom between mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau allows the WEM to serve the visitors with higher quality.

  Interns conducting reception

As the only official museum and the authorized documentary center of the BIE, the WEM is international, unique, thematic, and sustainable. Interns who come to the WEM every year to study and communicate will have a deeper understanding of the culture and history of Expos, and in the future, they can also become promoters of Expos.
