In order to explore the establishment of a long-term cooperation mechanism with future expo organizers, Director of World Expo Museum Liu Xiuhua led a delegation to Osaka on the 4th of September and took the first meeting with Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition （Hereinafter referred to as the association）. Vice Secretary General Manatsu Ichinoki, Executive Director of Expo 2025 Cooperation Office at Osaka Prefectural Government Shinichi Nakano, Senior Executive Director of International Relations at Osaka Prefectural Government Hironori Harimoto, Vice-Governor of Osaka Prefecture Jun Arai，Director of International Expo Promotionof Economic Strategy Bureau Osaka City Government Yamamukai Kaoru,Executive Director Extraordinary of International Relations Bureau at Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition Naohiko Shibata attended the meeting.

　　At the meeting, Director Liu Xiuhua introduced the general situation of the World Expo Museum, the origin and current situation of the friendship between World Expo Museum and Japanese expo related people, and World Expo Museum's participation in overseas expos. Both sides discussed exhibition display, publication and promotion in China/Shanghai, academic communication, temporary exhibition cooperation and youth communication in the three stages of Pre-Expo, In-Expo and After-Expo.

　　Both sides looked out over the site of Expo Osaka 2025, an artificial island called "Yumeshima Island" is under construction, and both sides exchanged views on topics of mutual concern, such as the goal of participation, the size of the park and emphasis in the preparation period.

　　Vice-Governor of Osaka Prefecture Jun Arai expressed the willingness of carry out communication solutions on economic, culture, youth and other cooperation at the point of the 40th anniversary of sister-cityrelationshipestablishmentbetween Osaka and Shanghai.

　　On the 10th September, Executive Director Extraordinary of International Relations Bureau at Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition Naohiko Shibata, Representative of Osaka Foundation for Trade & Industry, INC. Shanghai Office Tomohiro Oyama and Chief Assistant Xu Jie visited World Expo Museum. Director Liu Xiuhua, Deputy Director Zou Jun and representatives from the Office (International Communication Department), Exhibition Management Department and Literature Research Department extending greetings to guests.

　　Mr. Shibata visited the permanent exhibition, especially the exhibition area for Expo Osaka2025 in Hall 8, he also suggested the update and promotion of the following exhibition contents.

　　They also visited the temporary exhibition hall, Cloud ofCelebration, WE Theater and other functional spaces, they visited the exhibition "Expo Tea & Elegant Life", watched 4D movie "Amazing Adventure at EXPO", and investigated the expo librarywhich is scheduled to open next year.

　　Mr. Shibata said, World Expo Museum deserves praise in both hardware and software. He will discuss with association leaders and relevant departments on how to integrate the promotion of Expo Osaka 2025 into the exhibition of World Expo Museum and seek future cooperation.

　　The international visits between World Expo Museum and organizer of Expo Osaka 2025 in one week reflects the willingness and efforts of World Expo Museum to serve the international expo community and expand cooperation, as well as the recognition and response of the great expo family members.

　　Japan was elected host country of World Expo 2025 by Member States of the BIE during the 164th General Assembly on 23 November 2018, the theme of Expo Osaka 2025 is "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", the planned date is from 3nd May to 3nd November of 2025. In January 2019, Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition was established as subject of operation.
