On the morning of November 22, the Promotion Conference of China Pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai in Henan & WE Kids of Henan Week Publicity Campaign Launch Ceremony which co-sponsored by China Chamber of International Commerce, World Expo Museum and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Henan Sub-Council was held in Zhengzhou.

　　Committee member of Hala China ADEL EBRANIM attended the meeting. Chairman of CCPIT Henan Liang Jieyi , Manager of Marketing & Operation of Hala China Mr. Mohammed Saeed, Deputy Director of World Expo Museum Mr. Yu Zhenyu, Deputy Director of Division of World Expo Affairs of Trade and Investment Promotion Department of CCPIT Mr. Fang Ke, Deputy Director-General of Exhibitions and Events Department of CCOIC Mr. Wang Rui made speeches. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Ma Ning from International Liaison Department of CCPIT Henan.

　　President of Middle East International Exhibition Wang Hailin, Head of the Representative Office of the Gulf States of China's University and College Admission System Mohamed Asheel and other 150 Henan representatives from Expo 2020 Dubai Preparation Office, agriculture, science and technology, information, new energy, law and education systems participated in the meeting.

　　Chairman of CCPIT Henan Liang Jieyi introduced in his speech that Henan province will participate in Expo 2020 Dubai in the form of "Henan Week" from December 8 to 10, 2020 which was approved by the Government of Henan Province and the Organizing Committee of China Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai. Henan will promote "Henan Week" by opening ceremony, activity day and cultural performance, the "Belt and Road” economic and trade meeting, picture exhibition and show new achievements made in Reform and Opening Up in Henan province. Henan will also strengthen exchanges and cooperation with countries along“the Belt and Road” and promote high-quality opening-up.

　　Manager of Marketing & Operation of Hala China Mr. Mohammed Saeed said, with the implementation of the "Belt and Road” and the joint efforts of the Chinese and Arab governments and enterprises, the cooperation between the two countries in various fields has reached a new level. China has become the largest trading country of the UAE.

　　The "Hala China" program was initiated by Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates(UAE) Mohammedin July 2018, China and Arab had held a series of activities including the "Belt and Road” shows in Dubai, Guangdong, Sichuan, Beijing, Zhejiang, Kunming, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao , touring exhibitions, fashion weeks, film and food festivals, these activities have promoted exchanges and cooperation between China and Arab, which has been appreciated by President Xi Jinping twice. It is hoped that Henan enterprises will strengthen cooperation and exchanges with Arab through this promotion meeting.

　　Deputy Director-General of Exhibitions and Events Department of CCOIC Mr. Wang Rui introduced the market development plan for China pavilion in detail, which is convenient for enterprises to make use of the expo platform to carry out exchanges with international enterprises and open the door to the international market.

　　Deputy Director of World Expo Museum Mr. Yu Zhenyu introduced the expo campus publicity activities. He also introduced World Expo Museum and WE Kids of Henan Week Publicity Campaign.

　　Mr. Yu Zhenyu said that the WE Kids of Henan Week Publicity Campaign will cover four schools in Henan, ranging in age from 6 to 13. Different courses are arranged for students of different age groups so that could make it easier for students to accept and understand. Through the "Expo Class", students could sit in the classroom to experience the world, understand the expo, and imagine could participate in the expo in the future. Mr. Yu Zhenyu said, this activity was a new start, we are looking forward to having more cooperation opportunities between World Expo Museum and CCPIT Henan or the local education department.

　　Deputy Director of Division of World Expo Affairs of Trade and Investment Promotion Department of CCPIT Mr. Fang Ke introduced the preparation of China Pavilion.

　　The China Pavilion will be one of the largest at Expo 2020 Dubai at 4,636 sqm. The name of the building is "The Light of China" which symbolise hope and a bright future. It is designed in line with the principle of the “combination of the Chinese and Western culture with Chinese culture as the core”.The appearance is taken from traditional Chinese lanterns and combined with modern architectural forms, representing brightness, reunion, auspice and happiness. The construction started on October 30 this year.

　　Henan and Expo

　　Director of International Liaison Department of CCPIT Henan Mr. Lei Baoping introduced the participation of Henan Province in Expo. Henan has a deep connection with the world expo. In 1914, Henan collected more than 1,000 pieces of 343 products of 172 categories including Yuxian ceramics, Qinghua bamboo wares, Luoyang Wading, Kaifen Bianzhou and participated in the Expo 1915 San Francisco, wined 129 prizes.

　　Entrusted by Government of Henan Province, since the opening of Expo 2010 Shanghai, CCPIT Henan has organized provincial economic and trade delegations to attend Expo 2012 Yeosu, Expo 2015 Milan, and Expo 2017 Astana. CCPIT Henan are now actively preparing to participate in Expo 2020 Dubai.
