The opening of the Dubai World Expo is coming soon, are you looking forward to it?

　　The World Expo Museum is the only official museum and official documentation center of the Bureau International des Expositions. Participating in the future World Expo is an important cooperation project between World Expo Museum and Bureau International des Expositions.

　　EXPO×EXPOS–BIE’s Official Traveling Exhibition

　　The exhibition on display in the World Expo Museum Pavilion is called " EXPO×EXPOS–BIE’s Official Traveling Exhibition".

　　Dubai World Expo Mobility Area

　　While displaying the history of World Expos, the exhibition is also committed to presenting the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” of Expo 2020 Dubai. Especially, through a vivid display of human’s “Dream of Free Movement”, the exhibition echoes the subtheme of “Mobility” as well as WEM’s mission to preserve the “Ongoing History of World Expo”.

　　The exhibition is based on the principles of epidemic prevention, with the rational use of space resources as the premise and the goal of providing entertaining education and immersive experience for the visitors.

　　The whole exhibition hall takes "exploration and discovery" as the main line, with physical display and augmented reality technology throughout.

　　In terms of the visit experience, through the popular display methods and the “STEAM” educational concept, the exhibition will use multiple types of interactive items/installations such as listening, watching, and non-contact induction to offer visitors lively activities, and make the audience interested in Expos through experience and interaction, thus arousing attention and participation.

　　EXPO×EXPOS

　　The exhibition will comprehensively divide the exhibition space in the Ground floor into three areas:“Preface”,“History of World Expo”, and “Future of World Expo”.

　　The “Preface” part of the exhibition, will display contents, including the BIE, the 1928 Paris Convention, the BIE Logo, Expo spirits and Exhibition theme, providing a general overview of this exhibition.

　　“History of World Expo” will demonstrate the Expo history process in every stage from 1851 to 2020 through different contents, such as historical exhibits (coins, badges, engraving prints, etc.), 3D-printed models, images and videos. The general information of the BIE and the list of its member countries will also be displayed here. This area, inspired by the concept of “Openness”, will be arranged as a giant “box factory” and present Architectures, inventions and exhibits in the history of World Expo.

　　“Future of World Expo” will showcase the future Expos, World Cities Day and others. Meanwhile, combined with the subtheme “Mobility”, it will display the human’s “dream of free movement” aroused by Expos through the integration of technologies and arts.
