On October 13, 2021, Expo 2020 Dubai hosted Senegal's National Day at Al-Wasl Plaza. At the same time, the Global Business Forum Africa launched with a resounding start at the Dubai Exhibition Center.

　　Mr. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Commissioner General of Expo 2020 Dubai, His Excellency Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, and other official leaders attended Senegal’s National Day to solemnize the success of the EXPO 2020 DUBAI.

　　During the celebration of Senegal’s National Day, Bakalama, a Senegalese dance troupe, showcased wonderful traditional folkloric and percussive rhythms outside Al Wasl Plaza and their national pavilion.

　　The World Expo Museum had a friendly exchange with the Senegal Pavilion during this event while preserving access and safety at the Expo under the COVID-19 epidemic. The two sides also exchanged masks specially designed for the World Expo to express the resilience of the international community in the face of a global pandemic.
