The results of the 16th Shanghai Silver Pigeon Award were announced recently. The "Expos: A Microcosm of Civilization--A Collection of Archive Studies on Permanent Exhibition if the World Expo Museum" won the best publication award of the 16th Shanghai Silver Pigeon Award.
The Silver Pigeon Award, sponsored by the Publicity Ministry of ShangHai Municipal committee of CPC , aims to promote Shanghai's cultural exchanges with foreign countries, strengthen the construction of Shanghai's international communication capacity and improve the effect of international communication.
The "Expos: A Microcosm of Civilization" is one of the official bilingual publications of the Expo. Based on extensive research and textual research, the book gives a detailed review of the 100-year history of the Expo. As the first bilingual Chinese and English publication on the history of the World Expo, the publication reflects the positive contribution of China and Shanghai to the Cause of the World Expo.
