On January 30, 2024, the Reflective Memories - Fiber Art Exhibition, hosted by the World Expo Museum and Shenzhen Jupiter Art Museum, is about to open. It will showcase fiber art pieces created by two influential Eastern female artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. It aims to inspire and explore contemplation on the interconnectivity between humanity and nature, history, and culture.
Fiber art is an innovative application of traditional materials. Fiber materials and processes not only connect the material with the material, the spirit with the material, but also connect the past, the present and the future.

The exhibition selects 33 pieces/sets of works by the two artists, and interprets the link between fiber art and life, nature and society through the five theme Spaces of " Everlasting Vitality "," Mutual Coexistence "," Dimensionality within Inches"," Reflecting Memories" and " Flowing Fiber Expressions", guiding people's philosophical thinking about the past and future.

Since the first World Expo in 1851, the World Expo has taken the mission to showcase the civilization and achievements of all mankind, and it has always been integrated with art. World Expo Museum (WEM) is a unique museum in the world that comprehensively displays the theme of Expos and an essential cultural landmark and communal meeting space of the city. The WEM not only presents its permanent exhibition themed Expo but also organizes various temporary exhibitions to serve the public, in which design and creative exhibitions are preferred types.
At the beginning of the new year, the WEM is collaborating with Shenzhen Jupiter Museum of Art. This exhibition aims to open a new chapter for people from all walks of life to explore the allure and the combination of World Expo and art through the rich forms and cultural perspectives of fiber art.
