"World Expo on the Move"- Museum-School Co-construction Program
Theme of 2023: Connecting the Nature, Exchange the Culture
For the first time, the 2023 project tries to cooperate with social resources, joining hands with National Geographic of China. Under the theme of “Connecting the Nature, Exchange the Culture - Famous Bridges at the World Expo”, the project uses the iconic bridges of the host cities of the World Expo as a window to lead students to deeply experience and recognize that bridges are not only physical in nature, but also in meanings. It is also a channel for interpersonal and national cultural exchanges, and promotes the important contribution of the World Expo to cultural exchanges and mutual understanding of world civilizations through the display of "One Country, One City, One Bridge".
The “Mobile World Expo” Museum-School Co-construction Project in 2023 –“Connecting the Nature, Exchange the Culture ”allowed students to fully understand that bridges are not only physical links connecting two places, allowing people to cross mountains and seas and circulate in both directions, but also carriers of emotions connecting people's hearts and minds, as well as links for the blending of civilizations.

Every student and family is fully involved in the project, which achieves the good educational effect of building the museum and school together and educating the family and school together. Students from Xupu Primary School in Xuhui District, Shanghai, visited the exhibits in the form of a task list and carried out a special activity on the theme of "Bridges Charming!". Students can experience the charm of "One Country, One City, One Bridge" by answering questions and drawing pictures. The Third Primary School of Zhonghua Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai, carried out the micro-project research of "Building Dreams with Bridges, Walking Toward Beauty" relying on the excellent regional shared curriculum of Huangpu District," Playing in the World Expo Museum". Students focus on the question "What role do bridges play in cultures around the world? How do bridges present the arts and traditions of each country? Which bridges have witnessed the development brought to the world by the 'Belt and Road' construction?" Through online learning and field trips, the students and their parents present their research results in the form of tabloids or video presentations from three different perspectives: ancient bridges, modern bridges and bridges of the future, in the capacity of "Little Bridge Culture Promoters" or "Bridge Culture Family Promoter Groups". The research results was presented in the form of tabloids or video presentations.
In addition, four lectures were given in Beijing .
