This year's International Museum Day, celebrated on May 18, marks the 48th anniversary of the day. 2024's theme,"Museums for Education and Research" highlights the critical role of cultural institutions in providing a comprehensive educational experience.

　　The main event was held in the afternoon of May 18 at World Expo Museum. Activities organized by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism (Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics), Huangpu District Culture and Tourism Bureau co-organized by World Expo Museum.
