After the visit, XuJie was invited to give a lecture on “New Frontiers of Museum Practice: Today's Experience of Art Exhibitions” to all the staff.
Starting from the history of the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, U.S.A., and using the temporary exhibitions organized by the AWE Museum as case studies, XuJie introduced the concept of diversified exploration of museums through the past and present, through the world, through art and life. At the same time, he emphasized on the contemporary experience of ancient art to inspire the innovative fusion between cultural relics and contemporary art.

Director XuJie's lecture was informative and instructive, providing valuable perspectives and experiences on how to discover the meaning and value behind collections and how to bring out new vitality in today's era.
Liu Wentao emphasized that to continuously improve the radiation, infection and vitality of the cultural communication of the museum, and to attract more public into the museum is an important topic in front of us that we must think about and face up to. The cadres of the World Expo Museum must actively explore, innovate and practice, think accurately, and be good at discovering and solving problems, so as to provide strong support and guarantee for enhancing the public's cognition and participation in the World Expo Museum, and innovating the cultural inheritance of the museum.
